SOFE Honors Baker Tilly’s James Morris with Founder’s Award

The Society of Financial Examiners (SOFE) awarded James Morris with the Founder’s Award on July 15, 2015.

CHICAGO (July 21, 2015) – The Society of Financial Examiners (SOFE) honored Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) senior manager James B. Morris, CPA, CFE, CGMA, CICA, MBA on July 15, 2015 with its Founder’s Award.

The Founder’s Award recognizes the member who has contributed most substantially to the Society in the past year.

A member since 2010, Morris is highly involved in SOFE, speaking at conferences and seminars and participating on the Career Development Seminar Planning and Programming committees for the past two years.

Morris has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industries providing risk assessment, operation workflow analysis and design, financial statement audit, internal audit, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) / Model Audit Rule (MAR) implementations.
