Baker Tilly Strengthens Tax Practice in Austin Office

AUSTIN, Texas (Feb. 7, 2018) – Accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) is pleased to announce the addition of Seth Johnson, an experienced tax professional, to the firm’s growing Austin office.

Johnson has nearly a decade of experience in tax compliance, consulting and accounting services, and has served clients ranging from public and private startups to global enterprises. He specializes in advising on comprehensive tax minimization planning and implementation, as well as pursuing process optimization and other tactics to enhance efficiencies and service quality.

Prior to joining Baker Tilly, Johnson worked in the Texas market for a national accounting and advisory firm. He will be based in Austin expanding Baker Tilly’s tax expertise in Texas and surrounding markets.  

Johnson is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA). He also serves as the executive chairman for Business Forums International.
