Large technology and service provider meets ICS deadline for the first time in five years

Our client’s need

A large technology and service provider to the federal government was overdue in their annual Incurred Cost Submission (ICS) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) principles. The contractor engaged Baker Tilly to assist with the resubmissions and preparation of overdue submissions. Specifically, the contractor was in a position to resubmit 2007 and 2008 ICSs, and had outstanding submissions from 2009 onward.

Baker Tilly solution

Baker Tilly deployed an experienced team to assist with the preparation and completion of the ICS for the Fiscal Years ended September 30, 2007-2012. Additionally, we provided assistance to the contractor with response to the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) correspondence related to 2007 and 2008 submissions and other government contracting and DCAA related matters as requested.

Results achieved

As a result of this project, the client became current with all Incurred Cost Submissions and was in the position to submit the 2012 ICS on time. Additionally, the Baker Tilly team assisted in the creation of supporting documentation necessary in the audit process.
