The purpose of the Facility Assessment is to determine what resources are necessary to care for residents competently during the daily operations and in emergencies. The intent of the Facility Assessment, as outlined by CMS is to evaluate their resident population and identify resources needed to provide necessary person-centered care and services required by the residents.
