Lynette Stolarzyk, principal with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, joined the firm’s international tax practice in 2015 as the central region international tax leader. She leverages her experience in public and private industry, as well as academia, to provide clients with effective tax consulting and planning services. She is an active member of the firm’s Center for the Return of Manufacturing and is regularly involved in global mobility matters for the firm. Lynette is a frequent presenter for our international tax practice, as well as an instructor at our national-level programming at the firm.


  • Provides international tax planning and consultation to multinational organizations throughout the central United States
  • Assists clients in maintaining tax compliance across international jurisdictions and with domestic and foreign taxing authorities
  • Assists with international business start-ups, expansions, acquisitions and divestitures, including international structuring and restructuring recommendations and implementation
  • Develops strategies for tax efficient repatriation of foreign earnings, including foreign tax credit planning and treasury cash tax management strategies
  • Assists foreign in-bound clients with finance and tax planning, including earnings stripping calculations, permanent establishment analyses, treaty-based return positions and timely and accurate compliance with U.S. federal tax reporting requirements
  • Advises on global mobility matters involving the tax aspects of moving personnel around the world for both U.S. and foreign multinational companies
  • Assists clients with internal dialogue around tax matters, including the potential implications of proposed tax reforms
