Ann Blakely, a principal with Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP, joined the firm in 2004. As a leader of the firm’s human capital services team, Ann specializes in helping organizations improve business through building integrated HR and Talent programs in support of the organizations strategy, and enabled by enterprise software. With specialization in the Human Capital Services and HR Technology space, she can translate an organizations' strategy for their people in to actionable plans for their supporting HR systems. Her focus on client service, change management, and rigorous project management enables our clients to realize the return on their program changes and technology investments. Prior to Baker Tilly, Ann spent 6 years designing and implementing custom software solutions for public sector clients.


  • Spent 14 years leading enterprise-wide HR strategy and technology initiatives focused on Human Resource business transformation and business process improvement through the use of packaged software
  • Provides deep understanding of the cloud technology ecosystem for HR, and assists organizations in creating holistic technology roadmaps to provide integrated solutions

  • Provides perspective from nearly 20 years of consulting experience in a variety of industries, including not-for-profit, public, and private sector
  • Lead the build out and training of the proprietary Baker Tilly methodology for project management, change management, and packaged software deployments
  • Provides subject matter knowledge in the areas of human resources, talent management, payroll, and workforce optimization
