(February 10, 2016) – Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) is pleased to announce that Monica Modi Dalwadi, partner in the firm’s D.C. office, has been selected as an honoree of the Washington Business Journal’s 2016 Minority Business Leader Award. Dalwadi, a leader in the firm’s governance, risk and compliance practice, is being recognized for her professional accomplishments and charitable work in the community.
The annual Minority Business Leader Awards program is in its ninth year. The program recognizes the Washington D.C. region's top 25 minority business leaders based on demonstrated business success over the past 12 to 18 months. Honorees were selected from more than 200 nominations and based on professional accomplishments, community leadership, philanthropy, and awards and milestones achieved.
