Baker Tilly’s Mark Ross Appointed to the Healthcare Financial Management Association Principles and Practices Board

National healthcare firm leader to sit on the Principles and Practices Board of the nation’s premier membership organization for healthcare finance leaders.

CHICAGO (April 26, 2016) -- Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) is pleased to announce that Partner Mark J. Ross has been appointed to the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Principles and Practices (P&P) Board.

With more than 40,000 members, HFMA is the nation’s premier membership organization for healthcare finance leaders. The P&P Board works with the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Financial Accounting Standards Board and the Governmental Accounting Standards Board to address the unique financial reporting needs of healthcare organizations and to improve consistency in accounting and financial reporting among different ownership types. The P&P Board’s activities contribute to the HFMA stated mission of leading the financial management of healthcare.

Ross is also a member of the AICPA’s Health Care Expert Panel and the AICPA’s Health Care Revenue Recognition Task Force.
