READING, PA (August 18, 2015) – Accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) is pleased to sponsor the Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of Berks County, Pa. Jason Claudfelter Invitational.

The 14th annual golf event will take place on Friday, August 21 at the Willow Hollow Golf Course in Leesport, Pa. and will honor former committee chair, board treasurer, and Baker Tilly Partner, Jason Claudfelter, who passed away in December 2014.

“Sponsoring the golf outing was the best way for our firm to honor Jason while continuing to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County and his local community,” said Baker Tilly Partner Jake Kutz, one of Claudfelter’s colleagues. “Jason was a dedicated member of Baker Tilly and the BBBS community, and we look forward to partnering with BBBS of Berks County to continue contributing to the organization.”

The annual invitational has a goal of raising at least $19,000 for BBBS of Berks County to sustain the current level of mentoring services and offer additional services to unmatched little brothers and sisters.
