With more than 27 years of experience, industry specialist David Ferris will work closely with the firm’s state and local government clients.
MADISON, Wis. (July 19, 2016) – Nationally recognized accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) is pleased to announce that David Ferris, CPA, has joined the firm as a leader for the outsourced accounting services team within the firm’s state and local government industry practice. He will be based in the firm’s Madison office.
With more than 27 years of experience helping local governments with budgeting, financial forecasting and advisory services, Ferris brings a broad range of knowledge and experience to the firm’s state and local government clients.
Ferris has worked with state and local governments throughout his career. Most recently he owned and operated a consulting firm providing accounting services to local governments and served as the finance director for the Village of Waunakee. Additionally, David has served the Wisconsin League of Municipalities specifically with the Clerk, Treasurer’s and Finance Officers Association in a number of positions, including president.
