CHICAGO (July 24, 2018) – On Wednesday, August 1, team members at leading accounting and advisory firm Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP (Baker Tilly) will participate in the firm’s third annual Stewardship Day – a single day of service where team members across the firm come together to serve the communities where they live and work.

Since Stewardship Day’s inception in 2016, Baker Tilly team members across 30 cities collectively gave more than 10,000 hours of service, volunteering at 70 not-for-profit organizations supporting a variety of causes, including animal rescues, schools, parks, boys and girls clubs, hunger relief organizations and others.
Stewardship Day continues the practice of local teams choosing causes that are near and dear to them. This year, Baker Tilly team members will volunteer with approximately 80 nonprofit organizations across 32 cities.
Stewardship Day is inspired by the firm’s H.E.R.O. (Helping Enrich Relationships through Outreach) program, which gives team members paid time off to volunteer with charities and causes they wish to support.
