Hal’s Harley Davidson (Hal’s Harley) is a full-service Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership serving the greater Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. The dealership was founded in 1959 and was purchased in 1978 by Hal Topel, who gave the company its current name. The business remained in the family until the second generation owner recently sought to sell and retire. It was important to ownership for the sale process to be discreet while securing a return on the family’s investment, both for the dealership and the real estate asset. It was also important that the new owner preserve and expand Hal’s Harley’s fifty-seven year legacy of quality service.

Hal’s Harley is in good hands as the dealership was acquired by Sara Pomeroy, a longtime Harley-Davidson enthusiast and experienced dealer operator. In addition, Ms. Pomeroy utilized a publicly traded real estate investment company, to finance the real estate purchase from Hal’s Harley through a sale-leaseback transaction.
