The departments of Energy and Treasury have announced the availability of $150 million in tax credits for clean energy and energy efficiency manufacturing projects across the United States. The Advanced Energy Manufacturing Tax Credit is part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 and is a 30 percent investment tax credit, awarded on a competitive basis, for qualifying projects. The $150 million is being made available because it was not used by the awardees of the initial $2.3 billion of available credits. The remaining tax credits support a commitment to American energy and sustainability.
The Renewable Energy Development Support team at Baker Tilly works closely with clients to optimize tax credits and incentives for energy related projects. Connect with us today to find out if the newly available credits are right for your project.
