The 3rd Investment Immigration Summit MENA brings together top government officials and immigration specialists to delve into new and emerging opportunities for MENA’s HNWI to invest and migrate through the world’s top citizenship by investment programs.

The Current and Future Outlook on the EB5 Program
The U.S. immigration industry and peak bodies have been seeking action from the Congress for the authorization and reform of the EB-5 Regional Center Program. With the growing call for self-regulation and consensus building among the industry, government and other stakeholders push to reform some of the weaknesses in policy and implementation of the these programs in order to build a strong compliance and administrative processes. This session takes a look at current conditions, especially in the wake of the recent presidential elections and the outlook for the program going forward.

This session will provide an overview of some of the recent changes to EB-5 legislation. Additionally, it will explore recent challenges that have led to calls for increased scrutiny, new compliance standards and an overhaul/reform of the program with greater fraud protection mechanisms, deeper due diligence, higher investment thresholds and better program performance metrics.
