With over 25 years of experience in public accounting, John is a member of the firm’s public sector and employee benefit plan industry groups. His professional background includes “Yellow Book” and single audits of county and city governments, boroughs, and townships, public utility, housing, transportation and finance authorities, school districts, intermediate units, private colleges and state universities, vocational and technical schools, federally funded research institutes, religious organizations, and community foundations, as well as defined contribution and defined benefit pension plans. He has significant experience with assisting clients in achieving the Government Finance Officers Association Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.


  • Partner-in-charge of the financial audits of numerous governmental entities

  • Provides guidance on accounting policies and procedures to improve the operation of the accounting function and strengthen internal controls
